The First Floor
From
the sitting-room, a few steps through a small corridor (with a small window overlooking
the forge) lead to the first floor, which is made up of three bedrooms and an
airy family bathroom.

The Bathroom
The family bathroom is tiled all over and is
equipped with basin, bath tub with overhead shower and toilet. It has a window overlooking the privacy
of “La Vieille Forge’s” courtyard
and a wall-mounted heater and it is the perfect room for relaxing with a
warm bath at the end of a day packed with sightseeing and activities. We have even provided a first-aid kit and
bathroom scales.

The Master Bedroom
|
|
|
|
|
The master bedroom is a spacious, romantic room
with a window overlooking the front of the house and a peacefully bucolic
view over the fields across the road; it is furnished with a pine double
bed, bedside tables and table lamps, antique wooden wardrobe and chest of
drawers, a lovely Chinese rug and two chairs (up to two travel cots are
also available if needed). Like in
all bedrooms, there are also a mosquito net and an electric heater. Even though it is situated at the
front of “La Vieille Forge”,
this bedroom is very peaceful as in Vijon there is very little traffic.

The Twin Bedroom
This
is another spacious and quiet bedroom with lovely views over luscious
fields. It is adjacent to the master
bedroom and is furnished with pine twin beds, bedside tables and table
lamps, an antique wardrobe, a closed-up fireplace and wooden floor. Here too you will find mosquito nets and
an electric heater.

The Third Bedroom
The smallest bedroom is cosy and secluded, ideal
for children as it is very quiet (this bedroom has no external
window). It is furnished with pine
bunk beds, chair, antique wooden wardrobe, shelf and lamp, mosquito net
and electric heater, and has a lovely old dark wooden floor.
