Introduction

"La Vieille Forge" is an old, spacious house whose dark and cool cellars are the remains of centuries-old stone dwellings over which the present 100-year-old house was built.   It has had a rich and  interesting history, as shown by the still visible old stable (which is now used as a garage) and  forge (which can be viewed from a small window in the living part of the gite), and has housed, over the years, a bar, a restaurant, a ballroom and even a village cinema. The living part of the house, which is being rented out, has been fully renovated and offers comfortable accommodation for up to 6 people.
