hours away from Paris, both by car and by train.

Southampton. Limoges is less than

From the
North:

Trains
from Paris (Gare d'Austerlitz) to Châteauroux take around 1.5 hours and
leave several times a day.
Châteauroux is about 1 hour away by car to the North of
Vijon.
Alternatively
you can continue on to St. Amand-Montrond and Montluçon; the whole
journey takes around 3 hours (some trains require a change in
Vierzon). Montluçon is about 50
minutes away by car from "La Vieille Forge". You can purchase your train tickets
on-line and it will be posted to the UK: www.sncf.com.
